For March 2023, we are sharing our Sunday contributions with an organization in Florida which makes available books which are currently being banned in classrooms, especially around LGBTQIA+ topics or related to racial justice and antiracism. (To avoid retribution in the current cultural climate, the group is not being named here.)

With these funds, they’ll be able to add to their library or get books into the hands of young people who cannot any longer get them at their school or classroom library. (You can also donate new or like-new books on these topics. Bring them on a Sunday to one of our morning programs, or contact office@rysec.org to find out other times to bring them to the office.)

Please be generous.  Because we are still not all meeting in person, you can contribute online or send a check to the RYSEC office.

Please mark your check or online donation “Sunday Sharing,” to be sure it’s split between our sharing partner and support for the programs of the Society. Checks may be mailed to: RYSEC, 4450 Fieldston Road, Riverdale, NY 10471.
