Winter Festival 2021!
Join us for winter music, a story about festivals around the world, a few holiday-themed crafts and activities, and a potluck
lunch dessert sharing! This event is for all ages, so invite your friends. We’ll follow COVID-19 protocols for everyone’s safety, including requiring registration, masks, and social distancing.
Attending in Person
Registration for in-person attendance is open from the previous Sunday. Registration closes at 5 pm Saturday for Ethics for Children participation to be sure we're adequately staffed, and at 9 am on Sunday for adults attending the Platform Meeting.
Proof of vaccination (at least first dose) is required if attendee is 12 or older. Also required: mask while indoors, sanitize hands, respect social distance.
Most cultures and religions celebrate some kind of “festival of lights” at this time of year. We’ll celebrate the underlying values that many of these celebrations have in common, including children, joy, love, and peace.
Please bring a holiday dessert or beverage from your heritage or family — or just something you love or is easy to prepare — to share for our potluck sharing.
11 a.m. is gathering time, to meet and greet one another and, as a community, set up our potluck sharing, so please come early enough to add your dish. We start the program at 11:15 and usually end the potluck about 1 p.m.
If you want to help decorate the room, you’re welcome to come at 10 a.m. Adults and children have lots of fun helping out. To volunteer for this or some serving and cleanup tasks that make this event possible, sign up here:
