Winter Festival 2019!

Join us for winter songs, a story about festivals around the world, a few holiday-themed crafts and activities, and a potluck lunch!  This event is for all ages, so invite your friends.

Most cultures and religions celebrate some kind of “festival of lights” at this time of year.  We’ll celebrate the underlying values that many of these celebrations have in common, including children, mystery, generosity, and peace.

Please bring a holiday dish from your upbringing or family to share for our potluck lunch.

11 a.m. is gathering time, to meet and greet one another and, as a community, set up our potluck sharing, so please come early enough to add your dish.  We start the formal program at 11:15 and usually end the potluck about 1 to 1:15 p.m.

If you want to help decorate the room, you’re welcome to come at 10 a.m.   Adults and children have lots of fun helping out.

Our Ethics Matters theme for December is Awe: the practice of reverence and appreciation for the wonders we experience.
