Most weeks, voluntary donations are split between the work of the Society and an organization whose work in the world honors human worth.

This last year or so, our life experiences have been so very different from all the years before.  Pandemic, protests, politics — it’s been quite a time, starting in January 2020 through whenever we can meet each other in person and interact in a way that feels more familiar.  What story will we tell about this time and how we’ve experienced that time?  You have a story, I have a story — and together we have a story we can call “ours.”

Leader Jone Johnson Lewis will reflect on the power of story, and how our stories can come together.  She’ll lead us in beginning the process of telling OUR story.  Come join in that process!

11 a.m. is our usual gathering time, to meet and greet one another.  We start the formal program at 11:15 and usually end about 12:30.  After that, we have a time of informal conversation.

May 2021 Ethics Matters Theme: Story. The stories we tell shape how we think and how we act. What stories inspire goodness and justice? What stories take us away from our better selves, and what stories take us towards them?
