Becoming a Multicultural Community: Book Dialogues

Are you interested in how to transform an organization or community so that it is authentically inclusive and multicultural?  Can it be truly an ethical community if it is not diverse, equitable, and inclusive?  Find out from several different angles how this works.  Be prepared to do some “translating” of what’s in each book, to the context (this Ethical Society?) that you’re looking at.

These are part of this year’s American Ethical Union Antiracism Book Dialogues.  See the full schedule below, and register here to join this year’s sessions, including this any of these.  RYSEC Leader Jone Johnson Lewis will lead these dialogues.  Join one or more of them, registration is separate for each book’s dialogue.  All sessions are 8-10 pm ET, to better accommodate those who are not on the East Coast to be able to join us.

For best use of our time together, please prepare for each session by identifying 2-5 lessons you thought were most valuable to pay attention to and 2-3 ideas you didn’t understand, disagreed with, or couldn’t figure out how to translate into our context.
