Growth, change, and moving on often require that we first let go.  What makes it so difficult for us to let go of painful past events and circumstances?

Letting go of something in our past doesn’t mean we forget, it means releasing the expectation that we can make the past different than it was. And sometimes, letting go means releasing a belief that we cannot be happy unless some particular future comes true.

Letting Go and Holding On - text on signs pointing two directions

RYSEC Leader Jone Johnson Lewis will speak. Parts of the program will invite your reflection and participation.

Our December theme is Stillness.

11 a.m. is gathering time, to meet and greet one another.  We start the formal program at 11:15 and usually end about 12:30.  After that, we have a time of informal conversation.
