Most weeks, voluntary donations are split between the work of the Society and an organization whose work in the world honors human worth.

A basic concept in Ethical Culture is that bringing out the best in others helps bring out the best in ourselves.  We’ll look at a way to imagine how to contribute to the lives of each other, using the metaphor of “filling buckets.”  While the Ethics for Children program tackles their version of this topic, the adults will look at some of the more complex ways that this metaphor can play out in conceptualizing our interconnectedness, in ways that are practical and easy to explain to ourselves and the children and teens in our lives.

Our Ethics Matters theme for February is Trust: the practice of being reliable and relying on ourselves and others.

11 a.m. is gathering time, to meet and greet one another.  We start the formal program at 11:15 and usually end about 12:30.  After that, we have a time of informal conversation with some beverages and snacks.  Please feel free to bring some snacks to share!

Ethics for Children meets concurrently with our Sunday programs. Please join us!
