Speaker: Michael Shewchuk.
People in the world today are looking for a way to make sense of the world we live in and shape a meaningful and ‘sustainable’ future.
The global challenges we are trying to address at the United Nations – climate change, plastic pollution, hunger, poverty (do you know the 17 Sustainable Development Goals and the agenda to ‘Transform our World’ by 2030?) – can be traced to one singular challenge: we, humans – our lifestyles and level of thinking – are simply no longer sustainable.
We need to change – and it begins in changing the way we live inside ourselves and the way we share that insight and exchange with others. Are you ready to have a REAL conversation – one that elevates and uplifts, that supports and encourages a new level of humanity?
About our speaker: As both a Legal Officer at the United Nations and Co-Founder of the Global Center for Human (Evolutary) Change, Michael has a unique perspective on the significant challenges we face and the need for humans to change in line with the evolutionary narrative of these times.
With over 25 years experience as an international lawyer and diplomat, Michael has lectured extensively around the world and has taught international law at the university level in North America and Europe. His central message is that at the heart of all the challenges we face is one single challenge that faces us all – until we transform ourselves, we cannot transform the world!
