Brené Brown’s TED talk, “The Power of Vulnerability,” has had 31 million views. She’s obviously on to something! Brené Brown studies human connection — our ability to empathize, belong, love. She believes that caring what others think actually matters, and critics can help make us stronger — as parents, as leaders at work or in volunteer organizations, as human beings living a life. In a poignant, funny talk, she shares a deep insight from her research, one that sent her on a personal quest to know herself as well as to understand humanity. We’ll view the 20-minute talk and then share our responses.
