Most weeks, voluntary donations are split between the work of the Society and an organization whose work in the world honors human worth.

Consider how music often motivates us to move — and has often been used in social justice work to communicate and motivate in ways that simple words and speeches do not. Join us for a celebration of music and social justice, then and now. Most songs will be an opportunity for you to sing along, if you are willing and able, with a few powerful performance pieces as well.

Lindsey Wilson

RYSEC Leader Jone Johnson Lewis will be joined by musician Lindsey Wilson, an accomplished performer who is also the musician-in-residence at the Riverdale-Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture and the coordinator for the monthly coffeehouse.

11 a.m. is gathering time, to meet and greet one another.  We start the formal program at 11:15 and usually end about 12:30.  After that, we have a time of informal conversation with some beverages and snacks.  Please feel free to bring some snacks to share!

Music by Lindsey Wilson.
